Here, find this invitation to my writing students to create a space for personal journal writing in a socially, semi-formal environment. In fact, this is more than an invitation, it is an assignment. I do hope they will enjoy the challenge and bring to it their gusto for learning.
In the manner of example, I will post regularly. I will write close personal reflections and accompany these with my own digital images. I encourage my students to keep their graphics simple and immediately related to the subject of their posts, but to try to tools provided by the site sponsors, too.

Hi, this is Corina Demeo from your english 101 class. Im still trying to get used to this blog thing but I was just letting you know that I made an account, as instructed. I did notice that we were asked to invite you to our blogs, but I’m not sure how to do that.

Hi… I loved your images… Im kind of unsure as to how wordpress works and how I am to add you. I hope you will go over it with us more in class. I really think it is a great idea to have us come together as a class on wordpress, and I feel it will work great once we all have a better understanding of how to work it.

hello professor tillyer,
i’m here to “blog” about self-image. i think self- mage is a necessary part of being a human. self- image can be used to distinguish ones self as an individual or conform to an institution. i use the word institution loosely. one can both belong to an institution and be and individual. the idea one has of one’s abilities, appearance, and personality is the definition of self image.

My self image is my soul, my mind, and my heart. Everything else is an incidental. The only part that people will ever see of me, are the products that I produce including: my likes and dislikes, my world view, emotions, dreams, personality, and how I treat other people.
