Words of Greeting

A Place to Envision

This place in my backyard is the perfect spot to measure, even in its apparent simplicity, the depth of a poem such as the one that follows:

Part One: Life

LXXXIX

A WORD is dead

When it is said,

Some say.

I say it just

Begins to live

That day.
